Project Background

On August 8, we received an urgent notification from our overseas partner regarding a large shipment that needed to be airfreighted to HEL (Helsinki) under an extremely tight schedule.

Given the urgency, we immediately arranged for the first batch of approximately 130 pallets to be collected from the factory over the weekend and delivered to our warehouse, allowing us to prepare in advance for the subsequent airfreight operations.

August 10 | Initial Commercial Flight Plan

On August 10, we promptly proposed a commercial flight solution, with the original schedule planned as follows:

• August 14: First batch via commercial flight
• August 17: Second batch via commercial flight

However, on the evening of August 10, we received another urgent update from overseas. The factory's cargo volume had increased significantly, and all cargo was required to be shipped within a very short timeframe.

At that point, the estimated total volume had risen to approximately 553 pallets. The original commercial flight solution alone could no longer meet the required schedule, and the customer therefore requested the addition of a charter flight solution.

August 11 | First Charter Flight Confirmed

On August 11, we quickly secured and finalized the first charter flight:

August 16 | Hangzhou (HGH) → Helsinki (HEL) Charter Flight

Later that evening, the factory contacted us again with another urgent issue.

A separate charter flight originally arranged by the factory to depart from PVG was unable to obtain the required traffic rights at short notice, making the original transportation plan impossible to execute.

The factory therefore urgently requested our assistance in securing an additional charter flight.

August 12 | Second Charter Flight Secured

Upon receiving the request, we immediately coordinated with airlines, charter operators, and related operational resources to develop an alternative solution.

Within just one day, we successfully secured the second charter flight, which was ultimately confirmed for:

August 18 | Second Charter Flight Departure

Final Results

Throughout the project, the actual cargo volume continued to increase. What initially began with approximately 130 pallets eventually grew to a total of:

683 PALLETS

Despite the rapidly increasing cargo volume, unexpected traffic-rights issues affecting the original charter arrangement, and an extremely compressed shipping schedule, we successfully integrated:

Through this combined solution, we successfully assisted the factory in completing the shipment of all 683 pallets to HEL (Helsinki) within just four days.

Project Summary

From the initial commercial flight arrangement to the sudden surge in cargo volume, followed by the unexpected failure of an existing charter plan due to traffic-rights issues, the transportation plan had to be revised multiple times within an extremely short period.

Through rapid response, airline and charter resource coordination, warehouse and pickup arrangements, and the parallel execution of commercial and charter flights, we successfully adapted to each unexpected development and completed the shipment of all 683 pallets within the required timeframe.
